I’m in the press!

So the Mail On Sunday were kind enough to feature some of my psychology research in their paper!

They haven’t reported the findings in detail (well, they are a tabloid) but it’s nice to be recognised.

The study looked at whether there was a link between the number of affectionate text messages sent to you partner and your relationship satisfaction.  The answer…  No! People who texted loving messages a lot were no more happy with their relationship than those who didn’t bother.
However the study did discover that those spending more time together (as opposed to those perhaps living apart or not spending time together) were more satisfied with their relationship.
Bad news for long distance relationships…
